Job summary

STR Lancaster, a program of CIVIQ LLC dba Steps to Recovery Behavioral Health Lancaster, seeks an Associate Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy within an Intensive Outpatient/Partial Hospitalization program.

Under supervision of licensed therapists, you will assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and facilitate sessions while coordinating with families and partners to support recovery and reintegration into work and home life.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling or psychology.
• Provisional license (LSW, LAPC, LAMFT) in good standing in PA.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with clients with a primary mental health diagnosis.
• Strong ethics, boundaries, and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates individual, group, and family therapy sessions within an Intensive Outpatient/Partial Hospitalization program.
• Develops and coordinates treatment plans with supervision from licensed therapists.
• Completes documentation including session notes and discharge plans according to guidelines.
• Collaborates with clinical team, referral sources, families, and external partners.
