Job summary

STR Lancaster, part of STR Behavioral Health, offers an intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization program. The Associate Therapist will provide individual, family, and group therapy under licensed supervision, developing treatment plans and coordinating care with the care team to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling or psychology.
• Provisional clinical license (LSW, LAPC, LAMFT) in PA in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with clients with a primary mental health diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates group, individual, and family therapy sessions per clinical program schedule.
• Completes session notes, logs, discharge plans and reports per guidelines.
• Documents assessments and progress in a timely, compliant manner.
• Maintains therapeutic relationships and uses reinforcers to encourage positive behaviors.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to coordinate client care from admission to discharge.
