Job summary

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and licensure by Texas state bar.
• 10+ years of legal experience in contract administration (technology contracts).
• Experience in all phases of contract lifecycle (bid posting, vendor selection, contract administration, monitoring and archiving).
• Strong communication, analytical, and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide contract administration (develop, review, negotiate, and/or revise) for technology contracts including software licenses, SaaS, and related terms; draft and create other contracts for goods/services; manage legal risks and ensure compliance with FERPA, HIPAA, GDPR and IP issues.
• Develop and present contract workshops; maintain policies and procedures; coordinate with multiple departments to ensure contracts meet objectives and comply with laws.
• Coordinate with central procurement, ISO, and ADA reviews; collaborate with legal colleagues and vendors to resolve challenges and manage risk.
