Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related discipline.
• Six (6) years of contract administration, contract management or related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a state vehicle.
• Cert TX Contract Mgr (CTCM) license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage policy for complex contract duties for large scope and high-dollar contracts.
• Negotiate and advise on negotiations; ensure compliance with policy, law and contracting practices.
• Develop procurement documents, change orders, work orders, agreements, time extensions and acceptances.
• Monitor progress, expenditures, allocations and inspect final results for contracts.
• Coordinate training for new contract staff and provide advanced technical assistance.
• Ensure contract documents are maintained and compliant with laws and regulations.
• Oversee contract performance monitoring and develop key metrics.
