Job summary

Resurgence Hall is seeking an Associate Teacher to deliver one-to-one, small group, or whole-group instruction in reading, language arts, math, and science. You will collaborate with the classroom teacher and implement the Resurgence Hall Instructional Frameworks.

You will support interventions, develop classroom culture with high expectations, and maintain detailed records across STEPtool and PowerSchool. Ongoing professional development and coaching are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1 year of teaching experience required or related leadership experience.
• Experience with under-resourced communities preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in reading/language arts, mathematics, and/or science with fidelity.
• Support designated scholars’ interventions.
• Maintain and update records in school platforms (STEPtool, PowerSchool, Illuminate, DeansList).
• Communicate progress with families via apps, phone, and email.
• Participate in school-wide and grade-level initiatives and events.
