Job summary

Custom Computer Specialists, a longstanding IT services provider, seeks an Associate Systems Engineer to support school districts and enterprise infrastructure. The role covers Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and hybrid cloud services, with emphasis on security, documentation, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years supporting enterprise infrastructure including AD, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, VMware, and hybrid cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
• Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and authentication services.
• Monitor server health, perform updates, and assist with backups and DR testing.
• Configure and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WAN and wireless networks.
• Assist with cloud infrastructure in Azure and hybrid environments.
• Support endpoint security tools and incident response activities.
• Provide Tier II/III escalation for desktop and infrastructure issues.
