Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across Azure and Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and AD/Entra ID.

You will act as the primary technical owner for identity, compute, storage, and disaster recovery, delivering secure, scalable solutions. This role requires hands-on expertise to drive modernization, security improvements, and documentation while coordinating across IT and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or senior infrastructure roles.
• Proven ability to independently execute and deliver complex technical work.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Windows Server and Active Directory / Entra ID.
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam).
• Virtualization technologies.
• Core networking concepts (firewalls, switching, SD‑WAN, Meraki).
• Strong prioritization, decision-making, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Own infrastructure projects end-to-end, from planning through implementation, stabilization, and handoff.
• Implement and maintain security controls across systems and infrastructure; support compliance with NIST and CMMC.
• Own backup and disaster recovery solutions, including testing and validation of recovery processes.
• Balance day-to-day operational support with project execution; establish infrastructure standards and documentation.
