Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to ensure availability, security, and performance of the enterprise infrastructure. The role emphasizes Windows Server 2022/2025, Active Directory, and foundational virtualization technologies while supporting system upgrades and documentation.

The candidate will troubleshoot service disruptions, assist with server builds, remote admin tasks, and interact with project teams. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• One year or more of experience managing multiple systems.
• Ability to update and manage Tier 1–3 escalation issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience with HP ProLiant servers, HP Blade chassis, Cisco UCS Servers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and maintains servers and possibly storage systems.
• Analyzes and troubleshoots system issues.
• Assists with performance and coordination of server replacements and builds.
• Monitors, manages and maintains Active Directory.
• Acts as a technical resource for the Project Management Office.
• Completes and upgrades system documentation.
• Remote administration, design and implementation of troubleshooting issues, and updates/deploys Microsoft solutions.
• Triage and resolve escalations from the team within defined customer SLAs.
• Be a problem solver—identify solutions for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Leverage remote support tools to resolve support requests.
• Communicate with clients and project leads in a professional and timely manner.
