Job summary

Bear Creek Mountain Resort is seeking an Associate Ski Instructor to join the Snowsports team. You will help create a positive, memorable experience for our guests by delivering student-centered ski lessons and promoting safety on the slopes.

The role requires reliable availability for teaching duties, punctuality, and teamwork, with a focus on fostering guest confidence and love for skiing.

Qualifications

Must be 14 years old by December 1st of the current season.
Candidates 16+ by December 1st should apply as Ski Instructor.
Complete the Instructor Training Course offered by the school.
Complete the PSIA/AASI Junior Instructor Certificate Program.
Must have or be willing to obtain state-mandated child abuse and criminal history clearances.
Parental permission will be required for any minor working in the Snowsports School.

Responsibilities

Teach skiing in a professional, student-centered, and outcome-based experience.
Deliver lessons that guests find rewarding and inspirational.
Be available for teaching duties as assigned by the Director/Supervisor.
Be on time and ready to work when scheduled.
Work effectively as part of a teaching team.
Provide practical, high-value instruction that enhances snowsports safety.
