Job summary

Ciena, a global leader in high-speed connectivity, is seeking an Associate Services Project Manager to help deliver customer services projects. You will work under a Senior Project Manager in a collaborative, matrix environment, coordinating across Customer Operations, Sales, Service Delivery, Finance, and other teams to meet objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Up to 12 months related project management work experience preferred.
Experience thriving in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
Prince2 or PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead project implementation activities within customer networks.
Ensure scope, schedules, deliverables, quality, and service margins.
Analyse proposals to determine timelines and funding.
Identify, schedule, and track milestones, tasks, and communications.
Document and communicate status, risks, and resolutions to management.
Perform risk assessments and mitigation planning.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet objectives.
