Job summary

Nova Biomedical is seeking an Associate Scientist to join a multidisciplinary team responsible for research and development of chemical and biological sensors, assays, and reagents used in clinical analyzers and instrumentation.

Working under general supervision, you will conduct laboratory research, characterize organic compounds, collect data, and prepare technical reports, with opportunities to develop skills while collaborating with senior scientists and cross-functional teams to meet

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related life science.
0 to 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
Hands-on laboratory experience in organic synthesis or related field.
Familiarity with HPLC, FT-IR, LC-MS/MS preferred.
Ability to perform general laboratory procedures and use equipment safely.

Responsibilities

Conduct R&D activities under supervision using established methods.
Support development of sensors, assays, and reagents for clinical analyzers.
Perform laboratory experiments involving organic synthesis.
Record, organize, and summarize experimental data and prepare clear reports.
Collaborate with senior scientists and cross-functional teams to meet timelines.
