Job summary

Nova Biomedical Corporation is seeking an Associate Scientist to join a multidisciplinary team responsible for the research and development of chemical and biological sensors, assays, and reagents used in clinical analyzers and instrumentation.

Working under supervision, you will conduct laboratory research, characterize organic compounds, and prepare technical reports, with opportunities to grow alongside senior scientists.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemistry or life sciences with lab experience.
• Experience with organic synthesis and analytical techniques.
• Proficiency with MS Office; documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development activities under supervision using established methodologies.
• Support development of chemical and biological sensors, assays, and reagents.
• Perform laboratory experiments involving organic synthesis and related techniques.
• Use analytical techniques to characterize organic compounds.
• Accurately record, organize, store, summarize, and evaluate experimental data.
• Maintain complete laboratory records per documentation practices.
• Develop laboratory skills and familiarity with equipment operation and maintenance.
• Prepare samples, reagents, materials, and equipment for experiments.
• Identify routine problems and recommend solutions.
• Analyze results and communicate observations to senior scientists.
• Prepare technical reports summarizing methods, results, and conclusions.
• Collaborate with senior scientists and cross-functional groups to meet timelines.
