Job summary
Xencor, Inc. seeks an Associate Scientist I–Biophysical Characterization & High-Throughput Screening to support antibody discovery and developability assessments. This onsite Pasadena-based role emphasizes hands-on assays, data analysis, and automation to streamline workflows.
The candidate will perform cell-based and biophysical assays, contribute to data processing, and help advance lead candidates with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative science-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Degree in Biological Sciences or related field with relevant lab experience.
- Experience with cell-based antibody screening assays and screening tech.
- Experience with multi-color flow cytometry and data analysis software.
- Experience with HTS workflows and liquid handling systems.
- Experience applying data automation or AI-assisted tools is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Execute cell-based assays and multi-color flow cytometry to support discovery.
- Perform high-throughput developability assays and plate-based screens.
- Analyze results, document, and communicate findings to teams.
- Develop data analysis and reporting workflows with automation.
- Maintain records and ensure data integrity and traceability.
- Support lab operations and instrument maintenance.
