Job summary

DawarConsulting is seeking an Associate Scientist for a long-term contract in San Diego, CA to support analytical development and characterization of CAR-T cell therapy products.

You will perform cell-based assays, develop and validate assays, run flow cytometry and immunoassays, analyze data, and document work in SOPs and reports for cross-functional teams. This role requires 5+ years in biotech and GMP/QC exposure. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge therapies.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Biology, Immunology, or related field.
• 5+ years biotech or relevant lab experience.
• Hands-on experience with flow cytometry, immunoassays, and cell culture.
• Experience with T-cell biology and cell-based assays.
• Exposure to GMP/QC environments and assay transfer activities.
• Experience drafting SOPs and supporting assay validation/DoE studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform cell-based assays and product characterization studies
• Support assay development, optimization, qualification, and validation
• Conduct flow cytometry, ELISA/Luminex, and T-cell functional assays
• Support GMP release testing and QC assay transfers
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and write SOPs/reports
• Analyze and present scientific data to cross-functional teams
• Support cell culture processes and analytical testing activities
