Role Overview:

The Associate Scientist will implement analytical procedures supporting sample testing, method development, qualification/transfer/validation, GMP/n-GMP production, reference material programs, metrology, and stability testing, focusing on LC, GC, KF, NMR, FTIR, XRPD methods for APIs. The role involves supporting sample analysis using various analytical techniques, especially for potent compounds.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform sample analysis, interpret results, and report data.
• Test for qualification and re-qualification of reference materials.
• Assist with method development, draft qualification/validation protocols, and instrument qualification procedures.
• Transfer and qualify analytical methods with guidance.
• Document analyses per SOPs.
• Prepare high-quality documentation (notebooks, CoTs, reports, SOPs, procedures).
• Troubleshoot analytical instruments.
• Communicate research results effectively in written and verbal form.
• Support additional tasks as needed and collaborate with team members.
• Contribute to departmental and company growth and participate in self-development activities.
• Perform other duties within your skills and abilities as reasonably instructed.

Qualifications:

Required

• BS in Analytical Chemistry or equivalent with 3-8 years, or MS with 1-5 years of relevant experience in analytical development within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, NMR, UV, KF, XRPD, FTIR.
• Ability to write clear and concise technical reports.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office and statistical software.
• Good judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
