Associate Scientist
Location: Lower Gwynedd, PA 19002
Duration: 12 months, 100% onsite, lab-based role.
Qualifications
Education and experience:
- BS with 4-6 years or MS with 1-3 years or Ph.D with 0-2 years of relevant experience in Analytical Chemistry.
Required Experience and Skills
- Hands-on analytical laboratory experience (e.g., wet chemistry, chromatography).
- Expertise in Liquid Chromatography (HPLC/UPLC) and dissolution.
- Experience with chromatographic integration, Empower software, and Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN).
- Ability to collect and analyze raw data, and create graphs and visualizations to interpret results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Expertise in UV detection.
- Knowledge of laboratory GMP, quality, compliance, and data integrity requirements.
- Troubleshooting analytical techniques (chromatography, dissolution, spectroscopy).
- Ability to work independently in the laboratory.
- Knowledge of statistics and tools such as Excel or Minitab.
- Experience conducting comparative and multi-media dissolution studies.

Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing of drug products and APIs under supervision.
- Understand technical, regulatory, and GMP requirements related to drug development.
- Report to Senior Leadership within the Analytical Sciences laboratory.
- Apply technical problem-solving skills and work collaboratively.
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct analytical testing (HPLC/UPLC and dissolution) of drug products.
- Analyze data (chromatography/spectroscopy) and present findings promptly to the team.
