Job summary

Smith+Nephew is seeking an Associate Sales Representative to support the Extremities Orthopedics portfolio. You will learn our solutions for internal and external fixation, aim to restore function quickly, and drive physician accounts through sales calls and in-OR coverage.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with sales experience in medical devices or EMS/Paramedic preferred. Territory includes Flagstaff, Bullhead, and Tucson (AZ).

What will you be doing?

As an Associate Sales Representative, you will learn about the Extremities Orthopedics product portfolio specialized in solutions for internal and external fixation to restore the function of the injured body part(s) quickly and effectively. You will convert physicians/accounts by making sales calls and providing on call clinical case coverage in the operating room while also getting training on Smith+NephI. products through education/programs in your territory.

This territory will manage a 24/7 call rotation within the team.

• Collaborative and dedicated teammates committed to partnering with all Smith+NephI Extremities, Reconstruction and Sports Medicine counterparts in the region to discover sales opportunities.

What will you need?

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• Sales experience in medical device industry , specifically selling orthopedic products or as a EMS/Paramedic.
• Preferred experience in the healthcare industry.

Travel Requirements:

within designated sales territory with 2-4 overnights a month. Infrequent national travel for events and conferences.

All field sales professionals that are required to gain entry into healthcare facilities to perform the basic remit of their role, must successfully complete our credentialling process, which often includes COVID 19 vaccine management.
