Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory seeks a candidate to design and build the next generation of advanced radar systems for space surveillance. You will work in multi-disciplinary teams of scientists and engineers to prototype and demonstrate innovative concepts using world-class sensors and real-world data.

The role requires independence and teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to troubleshoot electronics systems in rapid prototyping environments. Occasional travel to test sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or other relevant technical field.
• In lieu of a Master’s, a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience will be considered.
• Experience in RF cascade design, PCB prototyping and testing, and RF/microwave component integration and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the next generation of advanced radar systems for space surveillance.
• Prototype and demonstrate innovative concepts leveraging world-class sensors.
• Work in multi-disciplinary teams of scientists and engineers; communicate findings effectively.
• Explain complex technical results to stakeholders; briefings and test plan execution.
• Travel to remote field sites for test exercises and system integration as needed.
