Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory seeks a Technical Staff-Radar Systems Engineer to design and build next-generation radar systems for space surveillance. You will prototype concepts in a fast-paced environment, work with multi-disciplinary teams, and translate mission needs into hardware and software solutions.

Occasional travel to test sites may be required. The role demands leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage budgets and schedules, with expertise in RF/EO systems and MATLAB or

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related field.
Master's degree plus at least 5 years of relevant experience may be considered.
Experience in remote sensing radar/EO or RF systems and system-level simulation.
Proficiency with MATLAB or Python and experience with real-time platforms.

Responsibilities

Design and build next-generation radar systems for space surveillance.
Prototype and demonstrate innovative concepts using real-world data.
Lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage project budgets and schedules.
Communicate status clearly to stakeholders and travel for tests.
