Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, MA, invites experienced RF engineers to join the Advanced Sensors and Techniques Group to design and prototype next‑generation radar systems for space surveillance. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to develop concepts, validate via real‑world data, and contribute to state‑of‑the‑art sensor systems.

The role requires mastery of RF design, antenna integration, and strong programming skills (MATLAB/Python).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent with relevant field
• Experience in RF cascade design, analysis, and measurement techniques
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication in oral and written forms
• Proficiency with scientific programming languages (MATLAB, Python)

Responsibilities

• Design and build next generation radar systems for space surveillance
• Prototype and demonstrate innovative concepts with world‑class sensors
• Work independently and in teams to test and troubleshoot electronics
• Present results to stakeholders and adapt designs accordingly
