Job summary

Moog Military Aircraft LLC in Buffalo, NY is seeking an Associate Design Engineer, PWB Design to develop high-density PWBs/CCAs for space programs. You will create schematics, artwork, BOMs and manufacturing data, working with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and manufacturability.

The role requires strong PWB layout knowledge, IPC/space standards, and CAD/ECAD tool proficiency. Onsite collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams is expected in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or technical degree with PWB/CCA layout experience, or an associate degree with relevant work.
• Strong understanding of IPC, space, military and commercial standards and specifications.
• Proficiency in schematic entry and PWB layout with attention to design integrity.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into schematics, nets, PWB layouts, artwork, 3D models, BOMs and manufacturing data.
• Ensure detailed schematic, layout, BOM and manufacturing data meet design requirements.
• Occasionally direct drafting staff to complete tasks and ensure data integrity.
• Follow Moog systems, MBS processes, change workflows and configuration control.
• Create and check drawings for completeness and accuracy in PLM and BOM systems.
• Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to optimize cost and function.
