Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking an Associate Design Engineer, PWB Design to create complex, multilayer PWBs and CCAs for NASA, military, and commercial space programs.

The role requires translating requirements into schematics and layouts, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating across engineering and manufacturing to achieve cost effective, reliable designs. The position is onsite in Buffalo, NY, with a strong emphasis on compliance with IPC and aerospace standards, and with opportunities to work with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or technical degree with PWB/CCA design experience.
• Knowledge of IPC, Space, Military and Commercial standards.
• Experience with schematic entry and PWB layout.
• Familiarity with configuration management of product design.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into Schematics, Netlists, PWB layouts and 3D models.
• Ensure integrity of schematic, PWB layout, BOM and data for fabrication.
• Possibly direct drafting personnel and manage workflows and changes.
• Create and check detailed drawings to ensure PLM accuracy.
• Collaborate with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to optimize design.
