Job summary

Irex Services is seeking an Associate Project Manager to work with leaders in the specialty contracting field in a hands-on training program across office environments, job sites, client offices, and other locations in the territory.

The program aims to develop the skills needed to become a successful Project Manager who handles customers and projects. A typical day includes estimating, proposals, site visits, and troubleshooting progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in construction or project management is a plus.
• Ability to travel within assigned territory.
• Familiarity with estimating software and field take-offs is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Learn best practices in environmental health and safety to prevent incidents and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, company policy, and customer expectations
• Learn how to provide outstanding customer service that secures a pipeline of repeat business
• Learn how to interpret specifications and perform material take-offs from construction drawings
• Learn how to prepare cost estimates utilizing estimating software or field take-offs
• Learn how to plan and coordinate with the field workforce for successful project execution
• Learn how to manage project schedules, labor productivity, material costs, and margins
• Learn how to develop relationships with customers, vendors, and other industry contracts
• Learn to utilize industry-leading software tools such as Navisworks, Bluebeam, JD Edwards, Salesforce, Velocity EHS and others
