Liquid Instruments is hiring an Associate Product Marketing Engineer to own the photonics presence for our Moku products. You will develop technical content, demos, and sales tools to make Moku the clear choice for photonics work, including performance benchmarks and application notes.

This early-career role reports to the VP of Marketing and involves 10–20% travel to customer sites and events in the United States. San Diego is the preferred location, with U.S. remote considered.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Optics, Photonics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• 2+ years of professional experience in engineering, applications engineering, application science, technical marketing, or another customer-facing technical role
• Hands-on familiarity with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, lock-in amplifiers, and waveform generators
• Working knowledge of optics and photonics applications and the instruments they use
• Strong technical writing ability, with published work or writing samples to share
• Able to manage several priorities at once on a fast-moving team
• Travel for industry events and customer engagements (10–20%)

Responsabilités

• Product messaging for the Moku photonics products, built on our messaging framework
• Write application notes, benchmark data, and technical webinars
• Create technical content and enablement materials for product launches serving photonics
• Build demos, competitive battlecards, and training content for Sales, application engineers, and channel partners
• Record and organize customer insights for Product Management and R&D
• Work with customers in labs to run measurements, give demos, and lead technical sessions; represent Liquid Instruments at key events; travel 10–20%
