Job summary

Liquid Instruments seeks an Associate Product Marketing Engineer to own our photonics presence. You’ll craft technical content, demos, and sales tools that position Moku as the clear photonics choice. This is an early-career role with ownership, reporting to the VP of Marketing, with San Diego preferred and U.S.

remote considered. You will own product messaging for the Moku photonics products, write application notes and benchmarks, and create launch content.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in optics, photonics, physics, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years in engineering, applications engineering, or customer-facing technical roles.
• Hands-on familiarity with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, lock-in amplifiers, and waveform generators.
• Working knowledge of optics and photonics applications and the instruments they use.
• Strong technical writing ability, with published work or writing samples to share.
• Able to manage several priorities at once on a fast-moving team.
• Travel for industry events and customer engagements (10-20%).

Responsibilities

• Own product messaging for the Moku photonics products.
• Write application notes, benchmark data, and technical webinars.
• Create launch content and enablement materials for new photonics products.
• Build demos, competitive battlecards, and training content for Sales, application engineers, and channel partners.
• Record and organize customer insights for Product Management and R&D.
• Work with customers in labs to run measurements, give demos, and lead technical sessions; represent Liquid Instruments at events.
