Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree, 1–5 years of experience in finance, and strong communication skills. Travel up to 5% is required; CPA/CAIA/CFA credentials are a plus.

The Operational Due Diligence team at Hamilton Lane performs comprehensive operational and back‑office reviews of private market investment managers that the firm is considering for its client portfolios. In this role, you will play an integral role in ongoing due diligence, risk mitigation, and monitoring of investment managers, including ensuring compliance with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and limited partnership agreements. You will be instrumental in helping to continue building out the function and enhancing the group’s various approaches to assessing and monitoring.

Your background will include: Must-haves: Bachelor’s Degree 1-5 years of experience; title commensurate with experience Knowledge of the private equity, hedge fund, and asset management industry Experience working in the finance, accounting, or financial service industry CPA, CAIA, and/or CFA (or working towards obtaining) a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate effectively with senior-level management Detail-oriented, organized, and strong analytical skills Interest and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) Flexibility to travel up to 5%
