Job summary

GC Therapeutics is seeking an associate level operations enthusiast who will provide essential support in areas such as office management, event coordination, inventory tracking, administrative assistance, and process documentation. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced biotech environment.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong organizational skills.
  • High ownership mindset: follow through, anticipate needs, and close loops.

Responsibilities

  • Own the contract administration process for NDAs, MSAs, MTAs, vendor agreements, and other business contracts, coordinating reviews, approvals, signatures, renewals, and communications with legal counsel, candidates, vendors, and external partners.
  • Support light financial operations, including invoice processing, expense documentation, and credit card receipt reconciliation in partnership with Finance.
  • Coordinate onboarding logistics and cross‑functional activities to ensure a seamless new‑hire experience.
  • Coordinate with IT and systems vendors (non‑technical support) to ensure employees have the tools, equipment, and resources needed to be productive.
  • Own the physical office experience, including supplies, deliveries, café operations, conference room management, and general workplace maintenance.
  • Partner with the Executive Assistant on visitor management, meeting logistics, shipping and receiving, and other onsite operational needs.
  • Serve as a positive, visible culture ambassador, fostering connection, collaboration, and employee engagement across the organization.
  • Support internal events, employee experience initiatives, company swag programs, and team‑building activities in partnership with the Operations and Executive Assistant.
  • Maintain strong relationships with building management and external vendors to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming workplace.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, operations, or a related field.
  • Exposure to operations, administrative, or office support role.
  • Outstanding personal initiative, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to be an effective team member in a fast‑paced start‑up environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • High ownership mindset: you follow through, anticipate needs, and close loops.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • 4-7 years of experience ideally in a biotech or tech environment.
  • Experience working in an early stage start‑up.
  • Proficiency in Intuit QuickBooks or other accounting software.
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset
  • Passion for both operational excellence and a positive employee experience

Pay Range: $110,000 - $130,000

Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. This role is eligible for an annual bonus. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
