Job summary

Valmont Industries seeks an Associate Manufacturing Engineer in Valley, NE to drive design and development of manufacturing tools, equipment and processes. You will lead tooling projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure manufacturability and cost targets are met.

The role requires Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, 3+ years of design experience, and proficiency with Inventor and MS Office. Occasional travel and a commitment to continuous improvement are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering is required.
• 3D CAD design experience is essential; Inventor preferred.
• Experience with 3+ years in mechanical design and project management is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of manufacturing tools, equipment and processes.
• Design or redesign production tooling and processes to meet project requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet milestones and budgets.
• Provide technical direction in design reviews and field testing.
• Document projects thoroughly and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
