The Role

The Associate IT Operations Engineer is responsible for providing on-site and remote technical support to end-users, diagnosing hardware and software issues, and assisting in maintaining IT retail or CpG infrastructure. This entry-level role requires basic troubleshooting skills, strong customer service abilities, and a drive to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist with setup, configuration, and deployment of desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi connectivity and IP configuration.
• Document issues, resolutions, and escalate complex problems to advanced support when necessary.
• Assist in user onboarding.
• Travel to client sites to provide hands-on support as needed and requested (up to 75%).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or advanced service desk experience (3+ years).
• Basic understanding of Windows/macOS operating systems and common software applications.
• Basic understanding of networking.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in GTI CpG or Retail IT.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites.
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 75 lbs).

Additional Requirements

• Must pass all required background checks.
• Must be compliant with all legal and company regulations for industry work.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Approval by the state badging agency to work in the cannabis industry.

The pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and location. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program based on performance.

Green Thumb Pay Range: $65,000 – $75,000 USD
