Job summary

Virginia Housing is seeking an Associate Human Resources Systems Analyst to provide technical HR systems support, improve business processes, and configure and test HR solutions. The role also creates user documentation and trains staff to ensure system adoption.

The ideal candidate will have a CS degree, experience with business applications, SQL, and ITIL/ITSM practices, and be comfortable handling confidential information.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science or similar degree or equivalent work experience.
• A few years’ experience supporting business applications and managing security accesses.
• Ability to perform data analysis to identify issues and determine resolutions.
• Demonstrated discretion with confidential information and knowledge of SDLC and applications best practices.
• Working knowledge of SQL queries and ITIL/ITSM methodologies.

This important role will provide technical support, business process improvement and configuration and testing of technical solutions for Human Resources. The individual will also provide end-user documentation and training to ensure an understanding of HR systems. It is important to be a collaborative partner to the business units and internal HR systems teams to effectively support and provide quality results.

To be successful in this role you must possess:

• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, similar degree or equivalent work experience.

• Adept at learning various vendor systems, including configuration tools specific to each application

Virginia Housing requires associates to live and work within the Commonwealth of Virginia.

This is a hybrid position (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

Hiring Range: $71,000 - $96,500

A background check will be performed as a condition of employment.
