Centers For Independence is seeking an Associate Human Resources Business Partner in Milwaukee to serve as a trusted HR partner for frontline teams. You will guide employee relations, performance management, and workplace investigations, working with both union and non-union employees and leaders to strengthen the employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; HR certification a plus.
• 2–4 years of progressive HR experience, with emphasis on employee relations, investigations, performance management, and coaching.
• Experience in a unionized environment is a plus; frontline workforce experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as primary point of contact for employee relations, guiding employees and leaders on workplace concerns, policy interpretation, performance issues, and conflict resolution in union and non-union teams.
• Lead employee relations activities including coaching, performance management, disciplinary actions, documentation, investigations, and terminations with consistency and compliance.
• Build strong relationships with employees and leaders through site visits and engagement, focusing on frontline staff needs.
• Support HR Business Partner and HR leadership in planning and executing strategic HR projects and initiatives.
• Identify trends and training gaps via interactions, investigations, feedback, and workforce data; recommend improvements.
• Document and maintain records including employee files and unemployment matters.
• Collaborate on design, administration, collection, analysis, and reporting of employee feedback and engagement programs.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HRIS, and other HR areas while ensuring compliance with laws and CBAs.
