Summary

The Associate General Manager supports the General Manager in leading a luxury outlet store, driving sales and delivering exceptional client service. This role oversees day-to-day store operations, coaches and develops the sales team, and ensures store presentation, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in monitoring daily store activities and team performance to achieve sales and profitability goals.
• Coach, train, and motivate sales staff to drive clienteling and comp store results.
• Maintain compliance with operational policies, security procedures, and inventory control to minimize shrink.
• Actively sell and build relationships with new and existing clients on the sales floor.
• Oversee back-of-house operations including receiving, shipping, POS systems, maintenance, and supplies.
• Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation standards are maintained.
• Collaborate on local events, marketing initiatives, and client experience strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Business preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of specialty retail including clienteling, visual merchandising, and store operations.
• Computer proficiency with retail POS systems, Word, Excel, and email.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and support the Store Manager.
