Job summary

Liquid AI is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel, Product & Regulatory to lead legal strategy at the intersection of advanced AI development and evolving regulation.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will collaborate with product, research and engineering teams to guide creation and deployment of AI models and products, translating requirements like the EU AI Act into actionable guidance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of legal experience, including in-house with technology product teams.
• Strong background in AI regulation, privacy, data governance, or intellectual property.
• Ability to provide clear, practical, risk-based guidance in a developing legal landscape.

Responsibilities

• Advise on AI regulation, privacy, data use, IP, model safety and product claims.
• Lead compliance for new laws and regulatory developments across jurisdictions.
• Support and negotiate commercial agreements with strategic partners.
• Provide clear, actionable legal guidance to product, research and engineering teams.
