Toyota Automated Logistics seeks a Field Application Engineer for the Memphis market. You will promote the latest material handling technologies, build relationships with industrial clients, and provide tailored automation solutions to meet business needs.

Expect exposure to robotics, mobile robotics, autonomous vehicles, AGVs, and more. The role includes hunting for new accounts, outbound outreach, and achieving sales quotas while visiting customers regularly and collaborating across company

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or MET preferred).
• 1+ year of engineering work experience outside of academia.
• Technical sales experience in the industrial sector preferred.
• Material handling automation design and sales experience.
• Strong presentation skills and AutoCAD experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate lists of target accounts and perform outbound outreach (phone, virtual, in-person).
• Achieve new buying accounts and sales quotas.
• Develop relationships with customers through regular visits.

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Field Application Engineer for their Memphis market.

Job Overview

A Field Application Engineer promotes the latest technologies within the Automated Material Handling industry to customers. They develop strong relationships with the industrial and distribution clients in a geographical area and provides them with exceptional material handling and automation solutions to meet their business requirements. This role allows you to work with some of the latest technologies in the ever-changing material handling field including robotics, mobile robotics, autonomous vehicles, AGV’s, and more.

Job Functions

• The FAE position we are looking to fill will require a hunter who is undaunted by cold calling.
• The ideal candidate will have no issue generating lists of target accounts and doing the consistent reach outs (phone, virtual and in-person) that success will require.
• The goal for the first few years will be to achieve new buying accounts through these outbound sales activities, in addition to a sales quota.
• Develop strong relationships with our customers through timely, regular visits
• Assess needs and present solutions tailored to customer specifications
• Sell a wide variety of products and services to meet your customers’ needs
• Collaborate with other Toyota Automated Logistics entities to provide the best solution to the customer
• Master business technology (AutoCad, CRM, Power Point presentations, etc.)
• Pursue leads from our Web Site and suppliers
• Communicate strategic information regarding suppliers, customers, and competition
• Network with business contacts within the territory and industry
• Master product information through training and personal efforts

Travel Requirements
