Job summary

CLA seeks an Associate to join our National Tax Exempt (NExT) team in Dallas, TX. You will support tax compliance and advisory work for nonprofit clients, collaborating with experienced colleagues to deliver accurate, timely results.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and one year of related experience is preferred; CPA exam candidacy is welcomed. CLA offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to provide customized tax compliance and tax advisory services to clients.
• Coordinate day-to-day tax workstreams with Seniors, Managers and Directors to ensure projects progress timely.
• Willingness to learn new tax concepts and technology.
• Learn new software and assist with development of standardized templates and tools.
• Leverage technology and automation to drive efficiency, accuracy, and a best-in-class client experience.
