Job summary

CLA is a top 10 national professional services firm with a purpose to create opportunities daily for clients, our people, and communities. The Associate will join our National Tax Exempt (NExT) team to deliver customized tax compliance and advisory services and collaborate across the tax practice.

You will coordinate workstreams with Seniors, Managers and Directors, learn new tax concepts and technologies, and help develop standardized templates and tools to improve efficiency and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to provide customized tax compliance and advisory services to clients and work closely with team members to identify and research complex tax issues.
• Coordinate day-to-day tax workstreams with Seniors, Managers and Directors to ensure projects are progressing timely.
• Willingness to learn new tax concepts and technology.
• Learn new software and assist with development of standardized templates and tools.
• Leverage technology and automation to drive efficiency, accuracy, and a best-in-class client experience.
