Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) seeks a Senior Associate to join our National Tax Exempt (NExT) team in Florida. The role focuses on exempt and corporate tax services for clients and involves mentoring teammates.

You will manage engagements from scoping through delivery, develop standardized templates and tools, and leverage technology to improve efficiency and client experience. This on-site role supports Lakeland, FL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Four years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in business services or consulting is preferred.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to provide customized tax compliance and tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues
• Demonstrate exempt tax and corporate tax technical skills
• Manage engagements from scoping through delivery, with increasing ownership of timelines, budgets, and client relationships
• Learn new software and assist with development of standardized templates and tools
• Leverage technology and automation to drive efficiency, accuracy, and a best-class client experience
• Mentor associates and interns, helping build a high-performing, collaborative Exempt Tax team

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Four years of relevant experience

Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred
