Job summary

CLA is seeking an Associate to join our National Tax Exempt (NExT) team in Florida. You will collaborate with team members to provide customized tax compliance and advisory services to nonprofit clients, and help research complex tax issues.

This role involves coordinating day-to-day tax workstreams with seniors, managers, and directors to keep projects on track, and leveraging technology to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to provide customized tax compliance and tax advisory services to clients and work closely with team members to identify and research complex tax issues
• Coordinate day-to-day tax workstreams with Seniors, Managers and Directors to ensure projects are progressing timely
• Willingness to learn new tax concepts and technology
• Learn new software and assist with development of standardized templates and tools
• Leverage technology and automation to drive efficiency, accuracy, and a best-in-class client experience
