Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking an Associate Engineer, Reliability Compliance to support Transmission. The role involves coordinating regulatory filings with ISO-NE and NPCC, reviewing records with SMEs, and ensuring compliance with NERC standards while interfacing with multiple departments.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology, 0-3 years’ experience, and travel between MA/CT/NH as needed. EIT is preferred. Hybrid work arrangement may apply.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• 0-3 years related experience; engineering design experience preferred.
• EIT certification may be preferred.
• Must be able to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary and be available for emergency restoration.

Responsibilities

• Verify compliance with NERC, NPCC and ISO-NE requirements by reviewing SME-submitted records.
• Assign SME tasks through Archer and track progress.
• Prepare and discuss NERC Event Analysis with SMEs.
• Coordinate Self Assessments and determine reportability of events.
• Support Regulatory filings with data gathering for NERC/NPCC/ISO-NE.
• Maintain up-to-date rules and regulatory references.
• Contribute to presentations for management and regulators.
