Job summary

Eversource is seeking an Associate Engineer, Reliability Compliance to support Transmission in Westwood, MA or Berlin, CT or Hooksett, NH. The role involves coordinating NPCC regulatory filings, interfacing with ISO-NE, and ensuring accurate NERC/NPCC/ISO-NE reporting with SMEs.

You will prepare analyses and participate in self-assessments, documenting findings and maintaining regulatory records. Travel across MA/CT/NH may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology required.
• Experience with regulatory reporting and utility industry regulations preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to coordinate with SMEs and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Verify compliance with NERC/NPCC standards and ISO-NE procedures by reviewing SME-submitted records.
• Coordinate and prepare NERC Event Analysis reports with SMEs.
• Conduct Self Assessments and Reportability Determinations for regulatory requirements.
• Support the Manager of Reliability Compliance with data gathering for NERC/NPCC/ISO-NE filings.
• Maintain up-to-date records of applicable rules and regulations and support regulatory presentations.
