Job summary

Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an Associate Engineer to join our growing team in Melrose Park.

You will design, implement, and maintain motion control systems, electrical control panels, and multi-panel testers while interfacing with diverse engineering disciplines. The role requires hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, PLC/HMI programming, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems, along with strong documentation and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent; practical engineering project experience.
Experience designing and implementing industrial machines and control systems.
Proficiency with electrical schematics using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and Visio.
Ability to create and edit mechanical drawings with Inventor.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principles and components.
Experience selecting and wiring DC/AC motors, VFDs, and motor controls.
Familiarity with Cognex Vision Systems and industrial barcode scanners.
Experience with PLC and HMI programming (ladder logic or equivalents).
Strong documentation and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing projects and coordinating with engineers.
Collaborate with Product, Manufacturing, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
Design, implement, and maintain electrical control systems for hydraulic and pneumatic processes.
Read, edit, and generate electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic diagrams.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical design issues as they arise.
Create preventative/predictive maintenance documents and schedules.
Evaluate equipment status and determine repair, redesign, or rebuild needs.
