Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical & Design Engineering Manager to lead our Mechanical Engineering and Design teams in Hillside, IL.

You will direct design, development, and deployment of manufacturing equipment, fixtures, gauges, and automated test systems. The role blends strategic engineering leadership with hands-on oversight of mechanical design, automation, robotics, motion control, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine safety.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Demonstrated success delivering complex automation and manufacturing equipment projects.
Strong knowledge of CAD, 3D design, FEA, and mechanical design practices.
Experience with lean methodologies and manufacturing readiness.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team of Mechanical Engineers, Designers, and Technicians.
Establish engineering standards and roadmaps for mechanical design and automation.
Direct tooling, fixtures, gauges, ergonomic devices, and automated test systems.
Lead advanced automation initiatives including robotics, servo motion control, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine safety.
Collaborate to integrate complete manufacturing systems and review designs and calculations.
Manage capital equipment projects from concept through commissioning with scope, schedule, budget, and risk control.
Support new product launches and manufacturing readiness.
Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement; mentor and hire talent.
