Job summary

The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is seeking an Associate Engineer for the Gene Camp site at Parker Dam, CA. You will oversee capital and O&M projects, lead planning, secure funding, and manage scope, budgets, and CIP updates, while coordinating with multiple internal teams.

Responsibilities include delivering technical reports, environmental assessments, and liaison work between Engineering Services and the Desert Region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with four years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with two years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting multidiscipline project teams and preparing technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead project proposals and planning/scoping studies.
• Monitor project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure delivery.
• Coordinate environmental assessments and maintain documentation.
• Provide day-to-day engineering support between ES and Desert Region.
