Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory seeks a scientist to lead the design, testing, and integration of prototype RF systems in laboratory, vehicle, and flight environments. You will drive RF front-end development, perform cascade/spur analysis, select components, and create repeatable test plans to ensure mission-ready systems.

The role requires a PhD in Electrical Engineering or an MS with 5+ years of related experience, plus strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering or MS with 5+ years related experience
• Expertise in RF front-ends for communications and sensing systems
• Proficient in RF cascade and spur analysis and RF test equipment usage

Responsibilities

• Lead design of RF front-ends for communications and sensing prototypes including cascade and spur analysis
• Set up lab environments and configure test configurations
• Document tests and plan experiments; perform data collection and analysis
• Coordinate field experiments, lab data handling, and post-experiment analysis
