Job summary

MPW Corporate Services seeks an Associate Electrical Engineer to support our Industrial Water team in designing, programming, testing, commissioning, and improving electrical and control systems for water treatment solutions.

You will contribute from concept through field startup, collaborating with internal teams and customers, and progressing toward independent control-system design using narratives, P&IDs, and MPW standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with PLC-based control systems and HMI software.
• Experience with AutoCAD or CAD software.
• Willingness to travel up to 60 overnight stays annually.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to electrical and controls engineering projects from design through testing, commissioning, and implementation.
• Assist with electrical power distribution design (480VAC three-phase, low-voltage systems).
• Assist with control system architecture (PLCs, instrumentation, safety, industrial networks).
• Support component selection, panel layout, CAD documentation, panel assembly, and system integration.
• Develop/modify PLC and HMI programs under guidance, aiming for independent control system design.
