Job summary

MPW Industrial Water seeks an Operations Engineer to support the Industrial Water division with engineering expertise across plant and field services. You will diagnose, maintain, and improve control systems, PLC programming, and instrumentation to ensure safety, reliability, and client satisfaction.

You will review designs, assist with commissioning, and collaborate with sales, applications, and field service to deliver effective water treatment solutions.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in power distribution, networking, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Strong ability to read/interpret electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Review operation for compliance with engineering principles, safety rules, and customer requirements.
• Improve designs with a focus on safety, procedures, and process controls.
• Provide field operations support including diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and control systems.
• Interpret electrical schematics and assist in assembling, wiring, and testing control panels and instrumentation.
• Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/SLC controllers and RSView32/FactoryTalk HMIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables and timelines.
