The Associate Disability Claim Examiner will handle a claim block of routine disability claims. The Claim Examiner is responsible for ensuring optimal claims handling and timely, accurate decisions.

Work Arrangement: Fully Remote. While this position does not require on-site presence regularly, there may be occasions requiring on-site visits to Prudential offices.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a block of routine Disability claims effectively and accurately.
• Focus on delivering excellent customer experience.
• Provide accurate, dependable, and trustworthy service.
• Maintain strong customer relationships.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of Short Term Disability claim management or related health claim experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (bilingual in Spanish and English preferred).
• Proven customer service skills.
• Knowledge of claim/risk management, contract interpretation, and administration.
• Proficiency in PC skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Experience in achieving development goals.
• Results-oriented with strong organizational, critical thinking, and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to organizational changes.

Additional Requirements:

• Reliable internet with at least 25 Mbps download speed.
• Capability to handle calls via cell phone (unlimited data/minutes) or landline, with personal phone number kept private.
• Quiet home workspace with minimal distractions.
• Dependability throughout training and employment.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary range: $43,600 - $64,800 (varies by location, experience, and skills).
