Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking an Assistant Director of Operations to lead and oversee all Campus Recreation facilities, including the Rams Head Recreation Center and other sites. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and oversight for all Campus Recreation facilities, including Student Recreation Center and Rams Head Recreation Center.
• Hire, train, and supervise approximately 40 student site managers and supervise one full-time coordinator.
• Develop annual budgets and coordinate equipment purchases and inventory.
• Collaborate with facilities teams to implement policies, safety practices, and emergency plans.
