Job summary

Merck is seeking a commercial leader to design, govern, and continuously improve the end-to-end treatment journey for a novel neoantigen therapy. You will coordinate across treatment sites, laboratories, sequencing providers, and manufacturing partners to ensure seamless therapy delivery and scalable operations.

The role requires at least 5 years in pharma/biotech, strong cross-functional leadership, and expertise in building operating models and governance with external partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industries, including experience in commercial operations, business operations, or treatment site operations.
• Demonstrated success designing and optimizing complex cross-functional operating models with coordination across multiple internal functions and external partners.
• Experience developing process architectures, workflow designs, governance frameworks, escalation pathways, and operational controls in complex organizational environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, govern, and continuously improve end-to-end treatment journey process architecture and governance structures.
• Serve as the commercial business owner for treatment journey workflows and operational requirements.
• Drive process integration across the operational ecosystem including treatment sites, labs, sequencing providers, manufacturing partners, distributors, and internal teams.
• Establish governance, escalation pathways, and issue resolution processes across the ecosystem.
• Partner with IT to optimize treatment site experiences and align workflows with future-state requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce bottlenecks and improve efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with Digital and IT to evolve orchestration platform capabilities.
