Job summary

Vividion Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a translational medicine leader to drive strategy across discovery, IND-enabling, and clinical programs in oncology.

You will integrate biomarker strategies, mechanistic science, and clinical data to guide development decisions and enable rapid learning. Leading cross-functional teams, you will translate clinical observations into discovery insights, shape study design, and collaborate with regulatory affairs to advance first-in-class assets with precision

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in oncology, immunology, molecular biology, pharmacology, or related field.
• 8–12 years of progressive leadership experience in translational medicine and early clinical development within biotech/pharma.
• Strong oncology expertise; immunology desirable; experience with small molecules and MOA advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead translational medicine strategy across discovery, IND-enabling, and clinical-stage programs.
• Define translational plans to maximize technical, clinical, and regulatory success for first-in-class assets.
• Establish translational milestones from target validation to clinical proof-of-concept.
• Support reverse translational medicine by integrating clinical observations with preclinical research.
• Translate clinical efficacy, safety, biomarker, PK/PD data into mechanistic hypotheses.
• Partner with Discovery Research to design follow-up studies on response, resistance, toxicity, and target biology.
• Drive bench-to-bedside learning across portfolio and inform future development plans.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development and Biostatistics to influence trial design and endpoints.
• Lead multidisciplinary data review meetings to integrate diverse data into actionable decisions.
• Establish a framework for cross-program knowledge generation and platform learning.
